Autoresponder Lists

How you should manage your autoresponder lists?

You must be aware that building up leads this way is one of the keys to successful business. And it can be quite time consuming and tedious. However when you automate this task you will take a lot of frustration out of running your business. An example of automation is putting a script for a subscription box on your web site pages. This will allow your visitors to sign up and be subscribed automatically. You can even set up a confirmation and thank you letter to be sent to them as soon as they subscribe.

3 ways to build autoresponder lists:

1. By website visitors: you can place a web form on every webpage and allow visitors to sign up for a free newsletter. You will then drive a lot of targeted traffic to your website. This will help you to gather a large and increasing number of prospects and potential customers for your business. These will be extremely targeted subscribers and convert well to sales.

2. Advertising on related websites: another way to gather large numbers of responsive prospective customers is to put small classified ad on websites that are related to your business. You need to be sure that the websites have good amounts of traffic.

3. Landing pages: landing pages or squeeze pages as they are often called are very effective for building lists. They are like mini sales pages and encourage people to sign up for your newsletter. They will show the visitor all the benefits of joining your newsletter and of course have a subscription box.

There are 2 sorts of Autoresponder lists:

1. Opt-in: This is when a subscriber can just subscribe and will receive a thank you note. An example of this would be people signing up via a subscription box on your website. It can be from a landing page or a page on your website.

2. Double opt-in: when a subscriber signs up they receive a confirmation email. When they have confirmed they will receive a thank you letter. The advantage of double opt-in is that the subscriber must respond to the confirmation. This makes sure that they really want to join your directory. Double opt-in will produce more responsive lists.

When building your Autoresponder lists: try to use targeted methods of building them. You will need to build them with people from your specific market. You will then have a highly responsive group of subscribers who will have a good sales conversion rate.
